I have just been doing some other awesome things!

Yes, I agree. It has been awhile since my last post. I am not going to lie and tell you that I haven't had any time to create a new post, but I have been keeping busy with doing some pretty awesome things and getting to know some amazing people.
In October I was appointed as Editor-In-Cheif of a quarterly magazine produced as a project at the Art Institute of Austin. At the time, this was what my life almost completely dedicated to. We ended up producing a fabulous end product, which we called "Naturelle Magazine." This was an incredible experience that allowed to me to realize that being an editor of a magazine is something I really love to do and would be really excited to do for an established publication.
Also, during the same time as the magazine production I assisted Edith Henry in styling The Full Tilt Fashion Show that takes place during Formula One in Austin. This was our 2nd year doing it so we were well prepared and for the most part, we new what to expect. Of course, if you have ever worked in fashion then you know that no matter how much planning is involved everything is constantly changing. So a show as big as this one requires a full week of NON-STOP work. But you know it is all worth it in the end!
I also was given the chance to be a part of all 3 days in the first ever Fashion X Dallas . On Thursday and Saturday I was lucky enough to sit in the front row as I blogged for Texas Lifestyle Magazine. On Friday night I was styling for Rare Trends. Styling for the lovely ladies that are Rare Trends, Paula and Marinia, is always an extraordinary experience! I am so glad I got to work with Edie and be a part of this.
I did what I was taught in school and used my spare time at Fashion X Dallas wisely, by networking. I was able to meet so many great people from all over. One of the attendees that I was blessed to me was the Creative Director for FAB Dallas Magazine. I moved to Dallas in December and less than 2 weeks later was asked to join the team at FAB Dallas. I was absolutely thrilled for this opportunity! Not to long after coming on, I was appointed to a leader position. Since then we have done some pretty great things and I have seen the magazine grow exponentially.
And last, but definitely not least, I was hired as a sales associate at Nordstrom. I also do the social media posting for the Stonebriar location @nordstromstonebriar. I have always dreamed of working at Nordstrom and am hoping to grow with the company.
And..I am still doing freelance personal and fashion styling!!
So, now you see I have a lot going on. Yes, I love blogging and writing about things that make me passionate, but I am finding other outlets for doing so. This does mean that I will no longer be blogging on here but I will be continuing to post the other great things that I am doing!
